Every one of our staff members directly contributes to the success of our hospital. We have five veterinarians on staff, supported by a group of over 30 highly qualified, compassionate team members. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds with many wide-ranging talents. All of our staff members participate in numerous local and national continuing education sessions to further expand their knowledge which they pass on to you in an effort to provide the best care available to your canine and feline companions.
Our management staff
Our management staff is filled with five wonderful ladies that work towards making McKinney Animal Hospital operations run smoothly on a day to day basis. They are the ones we look to lead us in providing the excellent veterinary care we strive to give to all of our patients.
|Janie Bloomer is our practice administrator. She's been with the practice in some capacity since Dr. Bloomer first opened his doors in 1983. She spends quite a bit of time in the hospital and you often find her pups, Charlie and Wyatt, hanging out in our reception "corral" when she's here.|
|Janelle Baker is our Practice Manager. She has been with MAH since 2002 when we opened our new facility on Eldorado Parkway. She hails from Iowa and started working at MAH shortly after moving to Texas. She lives in Leonard with her husband, Heath, and their three kids, Allison, Chyenne, and Bryce. She shares her home with a Dachshund, a Schnauzer mix, a Chihuahua, a turtle, and a couple of goats.|
|Ellen Chandler is our Senior Medical Technician and Animal Care Coordinator. Through the years, she has also become the Mother Hen of MAH. She has been with our practice since 1995. She takes great pride in taking care of all the pets that are entrusted to her care in our boarding facility. She lives in Princeton and shares her home with a dog and 2 cats. In what spare time she has, she loves spending time with her grandchildren and listening to Willie Nelson.|
|Tamala Purser is our Lead Medical Technician and Shift Supervisor. She has been with our practice since 2001. She is a Certified Veterinary Assistant through the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. Tamala is very dedicated, compassionate, and strives to do her very best. She lives in Anna with her husband, Josh, and their children, Hunter and Paisley. They share their home with a Soft Coarted Wheaten Terrier and an orange tabby.|
|Ashley Lauran Agar is our Office Manager and Shift Supervisor. She has been with MAH since 2005. She is a certified Veterinary Nutritional Advocate through Hill's Pet Nutrition. Her love of animals shows every day as you find her talking with our clients about their pets and find her showing that extra bit of love to every pet she can. Ashley shares her home with two dogs, a macaw, and an aquarium full of fish.|
|Nicole Eggar is our Business Manager. She has been with our practice since 2005. She also helps out part-time as one of our Customer Service Representatives. She graduated from Texas Tech University and loves Raider football. Outside of work, she enjoys lots of family time with her husband and their children, Annie and Owen.|
Our Customer Service Representatives
Our CSRs are the ones who welcome you to our practice, whether it's at the front counter or through telephone or electronic communications. They strive to provide a warm, welcoming, friendly environment for you as you are preparing to see the medical team.
|Jamirose Withers has been with MAH since 2009. She does an excellent job as a client service representative and takes great pride in caring for the clients and patients at MAH. Jamirose shares her home with a Lab mix and an English Mastiff.|
|Ericka Meath has been with MAH since October 2010. She has been in the veterinary field since 2004. She loves coming to work to see what each new day has in store. She shares her home with her three four-legged children, Tyson the Boston Terrier, Lola the Chihuahua, and Bertha the Pitbull.|
|Amber Hamilton has been with MAH since May 2012. She's genuine and funny which makes her a great asset to our CSR team. She's also a sucker for fluffy dogs! She lives in Anna with her husband Jason. They share their home with an American Eskimo and two mischevous dachshunds. In her spare time, she likes to cook and do arts/crafts projects.|
|Amy McHenry has been with MAH since 2013. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2009. Amy loves the daily interaction with all your furry kiddos! She lives in McKinney with her husband, two daughters, three dogs, and two fish.|
Our Medical Technicians
A large part of our medical team are the veterinary technicians. They work closely with the veterinarians to provide outstanding medical care to our patients. All of our medical technicians attend annual continuing education seminars to provide you with the latest state-of-the-art care for your pets.
|Jennifer Anderson has been with MAH since 2005 in her current position as Medical Technician and Inventory Coordinator. She came to us with multiple years of veterinary technician experience and a great love of learning. She is a certified Veterinary Nutritional Advocate through Hill's Pet Nutrition. Her favorite quote, "Food is just a vehicle that delivers nutrients to the body." Jennifer, her husband, Casey, and her daughter, Kaitlin, share their home with a pit bull mix and two cats.|
|Desiree Stoerkel has been with MAH since 2005. She started out as one of our CSRs and shortly thereafter moved into a Medical Technician position. She is also our OSHA Safety Officer. She lives in McKinney with her daughter, Riley.|
|Gay Nell Doshier has been with MAH since 2006. She is one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians. She has great patience and love for all animals which allows her to be one of our best handlers of our most fearful patients. She shares her home with "countless" dachshunds, an Italian Greyhound, a Chihuahua, and a cat.|
|Shannon Gidney has been with MAH since 2007. She graduated from the Bel-Rae Institute of Animal Technology in Colorado and is one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians. She loves relating to our clients as much as she loves interacting with the patients she handles every day. She lives in Van Alstyne with her husband, Brian, and their son, Jaxon. They share their home with a Great Dane, a Blue Heeler, and 2 cats.|
|Trish Collins returned to MAH in 2007. She came to MAH with several years of veterinary experience. Her bubbly personality always creates a positive work environment. She and her daughter Abigail share their home with a dog and 2 cats.|
|Natasha Anderson came to MAH in 2008. She came to us with many years of veterinary technician experience. Her focus and attention to detail give her the cutting edge needed when running our lab corner. She lives in McKinney and shares her home with two dogs and two cats.|
|Carrie Holt returned to MAH in 2009. She has over 8 years of veterinary technician experience. Her contagious laugh and high spirits are an asset to both our clients and our staff. She lives in McKinney and shares her home with a dog and cat.|
|Suzanne Bisel came to MAH in 2010. She came to us with numerous years of veterinary field experience. You will always find Suzanne focused and working hard. She lives in Frisco her pitbull and one happy cat.|
