Medical Technicians primarily utilized their full range of skills in the areas of surgery, treatment, outpatient care, diagnostics, critical care, radiology, dentistry, and client education. This position requires a great deal of veterinary knowledge and experience. Medical Technicians are also involved in the training and mentoring of other medical support staff. This position reports directly to the Lead Technician.

The main responsibility of a Technician Assistant is to assist the doctors and senior medical technicians with treatments, monitoring hospitalized pets, running in-house lab work, assisting in radiology, filling prescriptions and performing other related duties as needed. This position reports directly to the Lead Technician.

The primary responsibility of every employee is providing superior client and patient care while imparting a professional, responsive and compassionate image consistent with the Mission Statement of McKinney Animal Hospital.

Whether by phone or in person, our CSR’s are our first and last point of contact for our clients and are therefore largely responsible for initiating, developing and maintaining, excellent customer rapport while providing first-rate service. The secondary function of our CSR’s is to provide support for the our hospital team. This position reports directly to the Office Manager.

The main duties of an Animal Care Attendant includes the care, feeding and well being of all boarding animals in the hospital. Secondary responsibilities include the cleaning and maintenance of the facilities and equipment belonging to the hospital. This position reports directly to the Animal Care Coordinator.
