Dr. Barlow always knew she would choose veterinary medicine as a career. Growing up on a farm in New York State and having a mother who worked in a veterinary office really left her with no doubt. The winters in New York proved to be too cold and unbearable, so she and her family transplanted to Texas in 1994.

Dr. Barlow received her undergraduate degree in pre-veterinary medicine from Stephen F. Austin University in December of 2000. She was admitted to veterinary school soon after and graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005.

Dr. Barlow became an associate at McKinney Animal Hospital in August of 2005 and has been here ever since.

In her spare time, Dr. Barlow enjoys spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their son Ryan. Along the path of being a veterinarian, Dr. Barlow has adopted a menagerie of pets including two mutts, a Great Dane, and two cats. She also enjoys traveling, horseback riding, and anything outdoors.
